HOW TO TAKE THE PUBLIC BUS / TRAIN SYSTEM TO BIG BEAR

1) You must go to San Bernardino by Greyhound Bus or Metrolink Train

2) MARTA bus takes you to from Greyhound Station or Metrolink Train Station in San Bernardino to Big Bear
(Its a good idea to call MARTA and make sure you are waiting in the right place - BLUE MARTA SIGN. This is a small bus and if you call MARTA office the driver may get a radio call to look for you at GreyHound or Metrolink station. Be nice to them, they are good people! )

3) MARTA bus from San Bernardino arrives at a shopping center 1 mile from the hostel. (There are 3 possibilities to get to the hotsel)

3a) Ask MARTA BUS driver if he will stop at the village (VETERANS PARK BUS STOP - Corner of Knickerbocker Road / Big Bear Blvd)

3b) Ask where to get Westbound bus to the village. (VETERANS PARK BUS STOP - Corner of Knickerbocker Road / Big Bear Blvd)

3c) Ask driver if there is DIAL-A-RIDE MARTA Service to (VETERANS PARK BUS STOP - Corner of Knickerbocker Road / Big Bear Blvd)

4) When you get to Veterans Park Bus Stop you will see First Mountain Bank. Big Bear Hostel is opposite Bank on Knickerbocker Road behind Getboards/First Team building.
