The Adventure Hostel is the perfect place to stay when passing through Big Bear Lake on the Pacific Crest Trail. Tent camp in our backyard or splurge on a warm dorm bed or private room and use our hot showers, free WIFI, and full kitchen. Special Adventure

The Big
Bear Lake 92315 Post office The MARTA local bus service will drop you off across the street from the hostel at the corner of Big Bear Blvd (Highway 18) and Knickerbocker Rd. (Hostel at 527 Knickerbocker Rd.) Free shuttle
to the hostel often available from all areas in Big Bear Lake. The best spots to hop off
the trail are at ONXY SUMMIT on highway 38 You could also take the PCT
to the Cougar Crest Trail and hike 2 miles down to the Serrano campground.
This is a crowded campground and reservations are required. They have
hot showers I think. But there is nothing much nearby. This hostel is
in the village on the other side of the lake. Much more fun!
